    Biomedical broadly refers to the application of engineering and technology principles to the domain of living or biological systems.
    It is involved in developing innovative biology, materials, processes, implants, devices and informatics approaches for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases, for patient rehabilitation, and for improving health.
