What is the difference between BMRIT and other Medical Imaging courses such as Radiology course?

<p dir="ltr">BMRIT and other medical imaging courses, such as Radiology, differ mainly in their scope and focus. BMRIT is a paramedical course that trains students to operate medical imaging equipment like X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.&nbsp;</p><p dir="ltr">BMRIT graduates become Radiologic Technologists, skilled in capturing medical images but not in diagnosing or interpreting them. Their role is primarily technical, assisting doctors by providing accurate images for diagnostic purposes.</p><p dir="ltr">In contrast, Radiology refers to the medical speciality pursued by doctors, typically after completing an MBBS degree, followed by postgraduate training (MD or DNB in Radiology). Radiologists are responsible for interpreting these images and diagnosing diseases, as well as performing image-guided interventional procedures.</p>
