What is the difference between CAT and MAT? Can a candidate appear for both the exams?

  • CAT : The core sections of CAT are Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability. The exam is for 140 minutes, with 70 minutes to answer 30 questions within each section. CAT scores are used by mostly all MBA colleges
    MAT : MAT is conducted four times in a year and has sections such as Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, and Indian and Global Environment. A total of 200 questions (40 in each section) have to be attempted in 150 minutes.
