Chandigarh university is a top private university in Gharuan, Kharar, Mohali. Whereas Chandigarh Engineering College is in Landran. Among these, Chandigarh University is the better choice. -
Chandigarh University is private university with NAAC A+ graded accreditation and this university is best known for placements across various domains of study such as CSE whereas Chandigarh Engineering College is an affiliated college to Punjab Technical University (PTU). -

6 years agoThese both are the same protocol based institutions but there is a slight difference of the degrees provided by them. CGC’s degree is provided by PU whereas CU provides its own degree.

Both are private colleges Chandigarh Engineering College is affiliated to IK Gujaral Punjab Technical University. I will prefer you to go for Chandigarh University as it have better infrastructure and facilities. I think CU have much better placements then Chandigarh Engineering College. -
