    Hi,

    Communications Engineering focuses on the hardware and software behind information transmission, building and maintaining the physical networks and protocols that carry data.

    IT focuses on the software and services that utilize those networks, developing applications, managing data, and creating user interfaces. Think apps and information processing.

    Communication Engineering:

    • Hardware: Circuits,  antennas,  routers,  fiber optic cables
    • Building and maintaining networks
    • Signal processing,  data transmission optimization
