Community Nursing focuses on providing healthcare services to individuals, families, and communities within the community setting. Community nurses often work in public health departments, community health centres, home health agencies, schools, and other community-based settings.
On the other hand, Medical Surgical Nursing focuses on caring for adult patients who are hospitalized or receiving care in acute care settings, such as hospitals or surgical units. Medical Surgical Nurses care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions and surgical needs, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
