What is the difference between computer engineering and software engineering? Which branch should I opt to become a software engineer?

8 years agoIn CSE you will learn all subjects related to computer and its application but in software engineering you will learn programming language and testing. You can opt both the branches to become a software engineer. -

Computer science engineering, equally covers both hardware and software aspects. Information technology engineering and software engineering has a lesser focus on the hardware aspect. However, this difference hardly matters as universities frequently keep updating the syllabus for each branch.
Unless and until, you get a job in a hardware manufacturing company like Intel, Logitech, etc. this little difference in the syllabus hardly matters.
