The difference between CPL, PPL, and ATPL is as follows:

License Type

CPL (Commercial Pilot License)

PPL (Private Pilot License)

ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License)

Purpose

Allows pilots to fly commercial aircraft for airlines.

Allows flying for personal/recreational use but not commercial jobs.
