Dear aspirant, Criminology is a social Science closely related to psychology and sociology focused on the study of human behavior in relation to crimes and criminal behavior. The study of criminology also teaches you to understand the how, why, when, and where of crime. Criminologists use their specialised knowledge to develop policies and procedures that will help tackle and prevent crime. Criminal justice refers to the study and application of criminology.

Criminology is a branch of Sociology that studies crime, criminal behavior. And causes of crime. Criminal law is either those statues, laws, ordinances, regulations and court decisions regarding behavior that is not allowed in a society. Criminal law may also refer to the study of the preceding plus any limitations on them and how they are applied.
