There is a minor difference between CS and IT. There is an overlap of syllabus between 80 and 90% in both the graduation degrees. The syllabus of CS emphasises on theoretical computational sciences. IT emphasis on computer application in business. Both graduation degrees can help students to get the junior level developer and tester role. Students are advised to pursue PG course for a meaningful career in the IT industry.
