CTET (Central teacher eligibility test) is conducted at the central level and the qualified candidate is eligible to teach in any school within India for classes 1 to 8. B.Ed (Bachelor of education) and B. El. ED (Bachelor of elementary education) are degree programmes in education and make the student eligible to appear for CTET and TET examinations. B.Ed is a 2 year degree programme which requires a minimum qualification of B.A. (Bachelor of arts), B.Com. (Bachelor of commerce) or B.Sc (Bachelor of Science). B.Ed graduates are eligible to teach in higher primary and high school level as well.
    Thanks!
