    degree in engineering means 4 years course of graduation whereas diploma means direct admission to 2nd year and it is a shortcut course of 3 years.
    I will suggest you to do degree as it is more valuable

    Degree is graduation. Yes, it is always better to do a degree course, I.e. BE Engineering.
