What is the difference between Diploma courses and regular courses of interior designing?

Hi, Diploma courses usually span over 1- 3 years while degree courses are for 4 years. Degree courses are more in-depth and give you an advantage over somebody who has done a diploma course in the same. Many foreign universities do not recognize diplomas.
