what is the difference between DOEACC 'O' level and PGDCA

Hi, PGDCA is a 1 or 2 years Post Graduate Diploma course in Computer application which helps you to gain an intermediate level knowledge of computer application Any graduate can do the this courses. 'O' level course of DOEACC Scheme is equivalent to a Foundation Level Course in Computer Applications. Students can acquire this qualification by undergoing this course and passing the examination conducted by the DOEACC Society. Working professionals can also appear in this examination directly, provided they possess the requisite educational qualification as indicated below. So if you compare, O level is like certificate in computing- a basic level course and DOEACC O level is a higher level course

DOEACC 'O' level course is more basic while a PGDCA diploma is supposed to be more advanced. DOEACC 'A' level course is considered equivalent to PGDCA course though.
