What is the difference between Galgotias University and Galgotia College? I am in graduation final year.

6 years agoGalgotias University is a private deemed university. It is located on Yamuna Expressway and offers a wide range of courses from B.Tech to Mass Communication to Pharmacy. Galgotias University of Engineering and Technology, on the other hand, is UPTU affiliated. The campus is known as campus one and located near Pari Chowk. I would say Galgotia University is better in terms of the quality of education, but if you don't have JEE Mains rank or any other exam rank to get in, you can definitely consider Galgotias University. -
In spite of having the same title of "Galgotias", the University and College are two separate entities and run Un-parallel with each other, have their own norms, rules, regulations and working procedures. Galgotias College is AKTU affiliated and only offers B.Tech (various branches), MCA and MBA.
Whereas, Galgotias University is a private UGC affiliated university and it offers various UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD courses. The fee structures are also different based on the courses offered. Galgotia's is affiliated to UPTU or AKTU and comes under a good ranking. Galgotia's University is a private university. -
Galgotias University conducts their own entrance examination and filled seats on the basis of GEEE
whereas Galgotia college comes under UPTU.
