What is the difference between garment designing , textile designing, and fashion designing?

Hi,
Garment designing comes under fashion designing only. So, I am telling you the difference between textile. Textile designing is all about designing textiles. In textile designing, you will learn about the possibilities of textile. You will learn how textile is used for different purposes and in different industries, but textile designing is more about home furnishing products. Generally, textile designers work as a print designer or graphic designer, but a small part of fashion designing will also be taught in textile designing while fashion designing is more about apparels, you will learn more about designing garments. The basic difference between the three fields lies in the definition of three itself. In textile designing, you learn to design the textiles i.e any type of fabric (cotton, woollen, georgette, silk etc.). If you go by an option of textile designing, you shall have to carry on your study course with designing patterns on almost all type of fabrics. Here, you will not design the whole cloth or some wearable thing but you will design items like what should be the pattern on this particular Kurti that will make it look more good or what should be the colour pattern to highlight its grace.
