There are some pros and cons of appearing test at home or at centre. The difference between a home test and GRE test center is mentioned in the table below.

You need to arrange the hardware and software required for the exam. Hardware like Computer/Laptop, Uninterrupted Internet Connection and more)

You'll get all things here and you don't need to arrange anything for your exam.

You can appear in the test with the home comfort. No need to travel.

You need to visit the center located in your the nearest city.

You need to sit at a separate place to avoid noise

The exam environment will help you stay focused.

Strict scrutinize in-person proctoring

There will be more than 10 students in a room under one on-site proctor.
