    IIT- Indian Institute of Technology
    NIT- National Institute of Technology
    IITs are the no. 1 institutions in India.
    You can get into these colleges by clearing JEE Mains and Advanced. If you clear JEE Mains with a good rank, then you can get good NITs. If you clear JEE Advanced with a good score then you can get a good IIT. And most importantly, IIT is very superior to NIT. IIT is recognized worldwide but NITs are only national level institutes.

    IITs are the no. 1 institutions in India. IITs and NITs are not the same when compared to the level of studies. IITs possess a high grade infrastructure of courses, scope, faculty members as well as top-scoring students versus NITs.
