What is the difference between IT engineering and CSE? Which engineering branch should I opt for in order to become a software engineer?

Hello Hafis,
While computer science engineering, equally covers both hardware and software aspects. Information technology engineering and software engineering has a lesser focus on the hardware aspect. However, this difference hardly matters as universities frequently keep updating the syllabus for each branch.
Unless and until, you get a job in a hardware manufacturing company like Intel, Logitech, etc. this little difference in the syllabus hardly matters.
