One can practice in a court of law even after clearing 3 years LL.B course from Mumbai University It's not necessary to pursue only 5 year courses to practice LL.B Infact 3 years course is after graduation 5 years course can be pursued even after 12th

You can practice after LLB. Now it is five year BA, LLB full time. After thsi you need to clear a qualifying exam. for other course, you are not eligible to take the qualifying exam for practice. - Prof Swapan Garain (http:www.linkedin.com/in/Garain)
