What is the difference between master of science(msc) in finance and MBA in finance

The Msc is more of a research degree focused completely on finance, while the MBA is more of a general management degree with some focus on finance. There are a couple of reasons why someone might get an Msc For one thing, if a person wants to go into a more quantitative field, there are likely to be more required statistics courses. Secondly, if a person got a strong undergraduate business degree, they might feel that they already learned the management, marketing, and accounting they needed earlier, and would rather take many different courses in finance, rather than the broad focus of the MBA.
