Hi Shristi,The Masters degree is a degree obtained after following a full programme, which contains taught courses and their exams following by a dissertation. If you do not want to complete a dissertation and just follow and pass the modules then you obtain a postgraduate diploma. Criteria for postgraduate certificates and diplomas will vary from course to course. In general a Postgraduate Diploma will have the same taught module requirements as the Masters qualification, but will omit the research project. However, a masters degree will fetch you better career scope a per my understanding.Found this useful?
