Hi Nikhil, No, there isn't much difference between an MBA and MMS. While the former is much more popular than the latter, their course layout and teaching method is almost the same. An MMS degree is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), while an MBA degree is approved by the University Grants Commission(UGC). Other than that, there won't be much difference between the placement opportunities provided by the two. Everything said, if you have a choice of choosing between the two, I would recommend you to go for an MBA as it is much more popular a course than MMS. There are many institutes providing MBA in various interesting fields like Events Management and PR, International Hotel Management, Infrastructure Management etc. You can consider INLEAD, Gurgaon, Sharda University or Amity University for the same.
