What is the difference between MBA and MMS?

MBA is a management degree offered by various Indian universities.
Whereas MMS is offered by the universities in Maharashtra. MBA is usually thought of as a course which makes a student more industry ready as compared to MMS. -
MBA and MMS are academically similar courses each with same prospects. The only main difference stands is the way degree is obtained in both the courses.
