What is the difference between MBA and PGDM? Are these same? If no, which one is better?

There is no difference between MBA and PGDM. Syllabus of bothe the degrees is similar. In India only universities can award degrees. Therefore, B Schools which are not affiliated to any university award PGDM. AIU publishes list of PGDM which are treated equivalent to MBA for higher studies. Both deg

MBA and PGDM are both management courses yet the only difference is the approach to its curriculum. MBA give more focus to the syllabus framed by the university and no change is bought in for years. Both are same, both are Masters degrees. MBA is a 2-year UGC recognised Masters degree, which is useful for doing PhD further, while PGDM is not a UGC recognised degree. It may cause some problems for doing PhD while PGDM has better demand in the market for good placements.
