What is the difference between MBA and PGDM program?

To put into brief, PGDM is Post Graduate Diploma and MBA is Master's degree.

MBA and PGDM are both management courses yet the only difference is the approach to its curriculum.
MBA give more focus to the syllabus framed by the university and no change is bought in for years.
As for PGDM the focus is more on the current industrial demands and requirements.

The only difference between PGDM and MBA is that PGDM is introduced by those MBA colleges which is not affiliated by any university. Post graduate diploma in Management caries the same value just like masters degree. Top institutes like IIM's presents PGDM and other colleges provides Masters degree.

If it is 2-year full time PGDM then both are same.but the college should be reputed for PGDM. PGDM or MBAs from India do not get jobs easily abroad. It also depends on which countries u r talking about. To get job abroad u should do PG there itself and also check if u get work permit. In most develo
