there is really a difference between PGDBM and MBA.
1. MBA is a degree course, while
PGDBM is a diploma course.
2. MBA degree is provided by only those institutes that are affiliated to any university.

The main difference between PGDM and MBA is that PGDM is a postgraduate diploma which is given by stand alone / Autonomous Institutes which come under the jurisdiction of AICTE like IIMs, XLRI, SP Jain etc. And MBA is a degree program provided only by Unversities and come under the jur

PGDM is approved by AICTE(Prefer bschools which has AICTE approval for their courses) and General MBA is approved by universities.
