What is the difference between MBA and PGDM?

Hi,
Please note that MBA is a post graduate degree and is offered by universities, whereas PGDM is post graduate diploma and is offered by AICTE approved institutes.
Both these course have almost the same course curriculum, and is equally accepted by corporates for job so you may pursue any of the

Subodh both are equal courses PGDM are taught by autonomous institute whereas MBA are university approved courses where university rules are bound for colleges.
as far as placement point of view PGDM is good from reputed colleges like IIM ,IIT,NIT,IMT, balaji,symbiosis etc.

PGDM is post graduate diploma in management and MBA is Masters in Business Administration. You receive a degree certificate from the university under which you have compelted your MBA under AIU affiliation. Whereas, in PGDM, you received a diploma certification from the institute approved under AICT
