What is the difference between MBA and PGDM?

The main reason why post graduate courses are named as PGDM is because when an Institute is an autonomous body (meaning it is not affiliated to any University) and conducts management courses then such Institutes cannot offer MBA degree. Even IIMs, XLRI's don't offer MBA degrees they only give PGP D

MBA and PGDM are both management courses yet the only difference is the approach to its curriculum.
MBA give more focus to the syllabus framed by the university and no change is bought in for years.
As for PGDM the focus is more on the current industrial demands and requirements.

Please note that MBA is a post graduate degree and is offered by universities whereas PGDM is post graduate diploma and is offered by AICTE approved autonomous institutes.
Both these course have almost the same course curriculum and are equally accepted by corporates for job; so you may pursue
