The main difference between PGDM and MBA is that PGDM is a postgraduate diploma which is given by stand alone / Autonomous Institutes which come under the jurisdiction of AICTE like IIMs, XLRI, SP Jain etc. And MBA is a degree program provided only by Unversities and come under the jurisdi

Dear Ajit first of all I must clear one thing and that is both MBA and PGDM are equivalent. The only difference is that MBA degree is awarded by a university but PGDM is awarded by an autonomous college. 2ndly MBA syllabus is an old one while PGDM is an updated one.it keeps on updating as per the ne
