MBA is a degree course in management and PGDM is a diploma course in management. Today, PGDM is treated equivalent to MBA only but in MBA, you get a management degree and degree has higher value. But since both MBA and PGDM have same course structure, so there is very little difference and both are

Masters degree while PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) or PGDBM (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management) is a Diploma certificate.
