MBA is a Master's degree program. After completing MBA, you will be eligible for further studies like M.Phil and Ph.D. It has global acceptance. Whereas, PGDM is a Diploma certificate program. It has to be approved by AIU. The accreditation is equal.

MBA as you know stands for Masters in business admiration. This is a university degree course for management studies also known as MMS and PGDM, which is post-graduation Diploma in management studies is an autonomous course that means college is the one, who gives you that certificate after completion of 2 years.
Whereas in case of MMS, the certificate is given after completion of the course by the university. Most colleges have MMS as well as PGDM course. PGDM offers you more learning as compared to MMS.
