MBA is an UGC approved university program. Whereas, PGDM is AICTE approved autonomous program.
You should get a decent score in CAT exam and you must apply for Tier 1 colleges like:
    1. SIMSREE.
    2. PUMBA.
    3. BIMTECH.
    4. Noida.
    5. Great Lakes – Chennai.
    6. Christ – Bangalore.

MBA / MMS is a standard curriculum and the degree is given by the university.
PGDM is generally an autonomous course run by the institute, wherein the institute has the flexibility of fees and curriculum designing. It is not treated at par with MBA.
