What is the difference between MBA and PGDM? Which are the best institutes in India to pursue this course?

Hi Sohag,
MBA and PGDM are both management courses yet the only difference is the approach to its curriculum.
MBA give more focus to the syllabus framed by the university and no change is bought in for years.
As for PGDM the focus is more on the current industrial demands and requirements.

PGDM is Post Graduate Diploma in Management, The main reason why postgraduate courses are named as PGDM is because when an Institute is an autonomous body (meaning it is not affiliated to any University) and conducts management courses then such Institutes cannot offer MBA degree. Please note that MBA is a post graduate degree and is offered by universities, whereas PGDM is post graduate diploma and is offered by AICTE approved institutes.
Both these course have almost the same course curriculum, and is equally accepted by corporates for job so you may pursue any of the
