What is the difference between MBA and PGDM? Which are the best institutes in India to pursue this course?

Hi,
MBA and PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) are both management courses yet the only difference is the approach to its curriculum.
MBA give more focus to the syllabus framed by the university and no change is bought in for years.
As for PGDM the focus is more on the current industrial

PGDM is post graduate diploma in management and MBA is Masters in Business Administration. You receive a degree certificate from the university under which you have compelted your MBA under AIU affiliation. Whereas, in PGDM, you received a diploma certification from the institute approved under AICT
