What is the difference between MBA and PGDM? Which course has a better scope among MBA and PGDM?

MBA is a 2 years post graduate course, whereas PGDBM (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management) is a 1 year Diploma course. You must go for MBA, so that you can specialized in many fields (Marketing, finance, etc.). There are many best management institutes that provide MBA degree.

MBA or PGDM, both are almost same. There is no big change in course curriculum. It is just that PGDM is given by autonomous MBA colleges and MBA is given by university. Rest future scope, average packages, jobs, exposure etc is same in both cases. You can go for either PGDM or MBA.

You should choose a college where the PGDM is approved by Association of Indian University (AIU). AIU approved PGDM is MBA, then you can sit for banking specialist officer exams too. Don't be in a dicey situation, go for MBA as it is cost friendly too.
