There may be a slight difference in the syllabus. But, more importantly, from which institute are you doing it matters the most.
Remember, IIMs offer PGDM, Symbiosis offers MBA, JBIMS offers MMS.
But tier-2 and tier-3 colleges also offer PGDM, MBA, and MMS. So, in short, concentrate on the institute rather than on the program.
    Good luck.

    Hello
A PGDM is given by a college affiliated to the AICTE whereas an MBA is given only by a University. Both are considered as equivalent in India; what matters more is from where are you pursuing it. For example, a PGDM from a reputed B-school is any day more valuable than an MBA from an average one, and vice-versa. Ideally, one should try to go for an MBA since it is more recognised than a PGDM.
