What is the difference between MBA and PGDM? Which course has a better scope MBA or PGDM?

PGDM is given by a college affiliated to the AICTE whereas an MBA is given only by an independent University. Both are considered as equivalent in India; what matters more is from where are you pursuing it. For example, a PGDM from a top-ranked B-school is any day more valuable than an MBA from an average university, and vice-versa. Ideally, one should try to go for an MBA since it is more recognised. -
MBA/ MMS is a degree course, which is provided by a reputed university in India. The colleges affiliated to any university can offer you a MBA degree. Whereas, PGDM is a Diploma course.
