What is the difference between MBA and PGDM? Which course has a better scope, MBA or PGDM?

Hi,
MBA - It is a degree course offered by the colleges affiliated to the universities. So, only universities can offer MBA programs. MBA institutes charge less fees as it is almost similar to university standard. Student pursuing MBA will be studying more of the theoretical aspects of management.

When an autonomous institute offers MBA course they offer PGDM which is a Diploma course and not MBA, this is a rule by AICTE.

PGDM is given by an institute that is affiliated to the AICTE whereas an MBA is given only by an independent university. Both are considered as equivalent in India; what matters more is from where are you pursuing it. For example, a PGDM from a top-ranked B-school is any day more valuable th
