What is the difference between MBA and PGDM? Which one is better in terms of job opportunities?

The only difference between the two is that the colleges that are autonomous bodies like IIMs, XLRI, NITIE, MDI, TAPMI, etc. offer PGDM/PGP whereas colleges that come under a university offer MBA. As far as the job opportunity is concerned, it doesn't matter at all. The industry doesn't treat PGDM a

I would say PGDM because you'll then be able to specialize according to your field of interest. Also, because PGDM is offered by top colleges in India so the exposure provided by them will be immense.

MBA and PGDM are the same things the difference is just that the autonomous or some private colleges have their own curriculum provides you the PGDM degree. And the colleges which are affiliated to any university provide you the MBA degree. Talking about the placement of both the courses are same in
