What is the difference between mba finance and mba financial markets?

The financial market, per se, is part of finance. If you talk about specializing in Finance, there are lot of electives to choose from, depending on the B School. You need to exercise lot of caution while choosing the specialization, since your career will hinge on that decision

MBA Finance is the study of funds management and it deals with public finance, personal finance, business finance, principles of management, project management etc. It deals with corporate finance, costing, budgeting, working capital management etc. t has scope in various field of finance such as Financial Audit, Financial Management, Capital Management, Economics, Strategic Management, International Finance etc. However, MBA Financial Markets refers to those systems or arrangements, which facilitate buying, selling of financial assets/ instruments. It primarily refers to study of Stock Markets. Both are similar. In mba in finance as well as mba in financial markets, you will be provided with finance as major specialization.
