One of the significant differences is that IIM is an autonomous institute which provides Post graduate Diploma in management, better known as PGDM, instead of an MBA course, which other universities offer. Here is where you will find differences. The crowd, the quality of people around, the ambience, the best faculty members in the nation and their experience, the teaching method, the international exposure for the students and the pay package which comes only with the brand.
