What is the Difference between MBA & PGDM?

MBA is a degree whereas PGDBM is a diploma. From a course perspective both are similar. From a recognition per-se as well, both are similar but there comes a difference when it comes to Govt/PSU where ONLY MBA degree is recognized and NOT PGDBM. MBA can only be awarded by an approved university. PGD

MBA is master degree. or PGDM is a management diploma. both will complete in same time period. both are somewhat same but if you are planing for govt. job. then go for MBA. or acc. to me join MBA cause you can apply for both sector govt/ private.

Hi,
Please remember MBA degree is offered by universities, whereas PGDM is offered by AICTE approved institutes.
Both these course have almost the same course curriculum, so you may pursue any of these course.
