What is the Difference between MBA & PGDM?

MBA is a degree whereas PGDBM is a diploma. From a course perspective both are similar. From a recognition per-se as well, both are similar but there comes a difference when it comes to Govt/PSU where ONLY MBA degree is recognized and NOT PGDBM.
