MSc in IT and MCA are courses in the field of Science and Technology. They are different in some aspects which are mentioned in the table below:

MSc in IT

MCA

Full-Form: Master of Science in Information Technology

Full-Form: Master of Computer Application

Eligibility: BCA or similar courses

Eligibility: BSc in IT or engineering degree

MSc in IT is usually preferred by candidates who wish to pursue a career in academia

MCA is usually preferred by candidates who wish to join the tech field.
