    The University of Mumbai(MU) is an university and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is an agency for coordinating Technical and Management education in India.
    MU is one of the first three state universities of India and the oldest in the state of Maharashtra. It is a UGC recognised university. The University of Mumbai offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral courses apart from diplomas and certificates in many disciplines. Several private colleges in and around Mumbai are affiliated to MU.
