WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE AND INDEPENDENT EVENTS IN PROBABILITY?

Mutually independent events are totally not related to each other. The occurrences of those two events may or may not be simultaneous. But mutually exclusive events should not be simultaneous occurrences. In which one event exclude the other. One occurrence influence the non-occurrence of other.
