What is the difference between NIET Noida DPharm and PharmD?

<p>NIET Noida DPharma is a two-year Diploma course. This course focuses on the fundamental aspects of pharmacy, such as pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutics, and pharmacology.</p><p>On the other hand, the <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/pharm-d-doctor-of-pharmacy-chp"><strong>PharmaD</strong></a> course at NIET is an advanced degree programme. It is a six-year long course, which includes five years of academic study and one year of internship or residency. This programme offers a more comprehensive and in-depth study covering clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical care, patient management, and advanced pharmacy practice.</p><p>Thus, DPharm is a shorter course focusing on foundational aspects of pharmacy. While, PharmD is a more extensive, course offered at doctoral level focusing on clinical pharmacy practice and patient care.</p>
