    The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is divided into two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. Both papers contain 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and have a duration of two and a half hours.     1. The CTET Paper 1 is for those teaching aspirants who wish to teach at the primary level, I. e. , classes 1 to 5.
    2. Paper 2 is for candidates who are eligible to teach Classes 6 to 8.
    3. You can appear for Paper 1 after completing your 12th grade or equivalent. You also need a Diploma in elementary education.
    4. To apply for Paper 2, you need to have a graduation degree and a two-year Diploma or degree in education. You can appear for both papers if you fulfil the eligibility criteria for both papers.
