What is the difference between PGDBA & MBA?
What is the difference between PGDBA & MBA? I want to take admission for PGDBA course of SCDL (Symbiosys Centre for Distance Learning). Is it equivalent to MBA????

The main difference between PGDM and MBA is that PGDM is a postgraduate diploma program which is given by stand alone / Autonomous Institutes which come under the jurisdiction of AICTE like XLRI, SP Jain etc. And MBA is a degree program provided only by Universities and come under the jur

NO... Both of them are not equal. The first one is a diploma course while the second one is a three year degree course. You have better opportunities when you go for Masters. PGDBA will not suffice.

There are Corporates which consider them equal as a pre-requiste qualification for a job. But not all of them consider it equal which perhaps is not correct in my opinion.
