What is the difference between PGDM and MBA?

Promothesh, MBA is offered by Universities and colleges affiliated to universities whereas autonomous institutions offer PGDM. The best management institutions in India ie IIMs offer PGDM. So there is no great difference in MBA or PGDM. You should choose an institute which is reputed and has a good

Hi,
The first and basic difference between the two programs is that the MBA is a Degree programme whereas a PGDM is a Diploma programme. An MBA programme is offered by a government or private university or a college affiliated with a university.
